Feeding a Phobia
I thought I would continue the Phobia theme for today. A little treat for ya’ll before the long weekend.
Last night the phone rang. It was my buddy Pete. Full blood Navajo. Meaner than a sidewinder. Not as mean as his Ojibway wife. She wears the pants and the shirt in that family.
He lives right by the cave where they claim it hangs out while in the area. Soooo… he was talking to the Bigfoot dudes and told them about me. Thanks Pete. Thanks a lot.
They want to interview me. Not on film. No flippin’ way. But they want to hear about my “experience.” Which I don’t normally talk about.
Plus. Get this.
They want to camp out on our property this weekend. According to my friend Pete they have been tracking it’s migratory patterns and have found that it or they follow the river. Which by (Merrill Luck) coincidence goes right by my house. On top of that they claim it has a migratory cycle of about 8 years. So it appears every 8 years or so. I’m saying about 5-7 but I’m not the expert here. So it’s going to be a very drama filled weekend.
I’ll keep ya’ll informed.
Can I gain weight feeding my Phobia? Is that possible? :D
“But they want to hear about my “experience.” ”
You had an experience with Big Foot????
Oh…do tell!!!
errr… well… I don’t like to talk about it.
It really freaks me out. Serious freaking with blubbering and pleading.. it’s not pretty.
Oh no…you’re a super freak again!
yes. it’s an ongoing crisis. Kind of like global warming. Only smaller.
c’mon…out with it…it can’t be that bad!!!
It is when it happens in your front yard and you still live there. ::shudder::
Do I have to get Pete…or better yet, his wife to get it out of you?????
They’re on my side.
Evidently not…isn’t he the one that told them about you????
Well.. that’s a different story. It’s called pay back.
I am growing weary of this game…so are you gonna spill the beans or should I just log off and come back later…when I have more time…much more time!???? hmmmmm?????
zzzzzzzzz
iiyah bahadzid!
o.k. ARound 20-21 years ago I had two of my nephews with me in the front yard looking at stars. It’s (was) our favorite past time. Checking out the constellations and watching for meteors. One nephew was a toddler and the other was about 4-5 years old.
I was holding the younger one and the older one was standing next to me. All of a sudden it was deathly quiet. All the night noises stopped. No crickets, nothing. I didn’t think anything about it right away. I stared feeling like something was watching me. The hair was standing up on the back of my neck.
My younger nephew grabbed me around the neck and started crying. The older nephew wrapped his arms around my leg and wouldn’t let go and he was whimpering. I tried to calm them down but they had other plans.
Finally, I took them to the front door and as I sat my younger nephew down to go to his mother I happened to glance to my right where we were just standing. Behind the car was a huge human form that towered over the car. I thought it was something standing on the car at first until I realized I could only see the upper half. The shoulders were almost as wide as the roof of the car. I had flipped on the porch light so it’s were kind of glowing from the light. They were glowing red.
It’s head came to a point and I could see it was covered in hair. I turned to my brother-in-law and told him to come look at it. I had no idea what I was seeing. My mind could not comprehend what I was looking. When I turned back to get a better look it was gone. Not a sound. Not a whisper. No smell. It was the spookiest thing I’ve ever encountered.
I’ve lived here all my life and spent my childhood running around by the river and swimming in it. I have never seen anything like this before.
To this day I don’t go out after dark.
I’m shivering right now. This freaks me out every time I talk about it.
oooooooooie….that is creepy!
and scarey…
I’d stay close to home too!
so they are going to have to tell your story? Did anyone else see it?
My brother has seen it once. It was following him and he ran to a neighbor’s house to get away from it. It actually chased him. That’s my brother Tom.
My aunt that same summer came to visit us from Gallup and she smokes. We’re Mormon so she had to smoke outside. While she was sitting out there she heard something growling by the area where I had seen it. There’s a grove of trees and bushes right there. You can hide a cow in there and never see it. We’re outdoorsy folks. My aunt is an accomplished bow hunter. She has spent her life in the wilderness all over northern New Mexico and she said she has never heard anything like it before.
Ok, that freaked me out! I just got chills!

I love you Sam. You tell the best stories, but I wish you would move away from there. Just in case. Why is it so intent on your family? Maybe when you get all skinny and everything it will lose interest?? You take care now, and don’t go out at night. :0

Yeah well, you know what? It is creepy, VERY! And I do believe you, every bit of it! But then again, you never heard my UFO story….and NOOOOO I’m not being cheeky!!!!… I’m serious!….granted I was 10, but, still, it haunts me…You’ll be fine Sam…but just like you, you couldn’t get me out of your house at night, if you used a crow bar…. hope you are doing well..flo
and p.s. not for nothing…but your mail box is full…again… blah, blah, blah…better get to it.
wow, that is scary, and with the little ones too… i hope they don’t remember it. so have you decided if the ‘experts’ get to come fill your yard with drama yet?
o.k. cleared out the inbox. sorry about that. umm.. I’m supposed to get a call after I get off work tonight and then they’ll come out to interview. No recorders or anything. They just want to know what happened and if it’s possible to stay on our property overnight.
that is so crazy! ha i know someone that “chiills” with big foot. okay lets be honest its gets the chills from big foot but that is a fine line i am willing to walk.
