This day is very special to me because it’s going to be the last one with her.  The day has been full of color and laughter.  Grandchildren and great grandchildren form intricate patterns as they dance around her.  There is a light in her eyes.  She is happy.

My mother is the strongest person I have ever known.  She is also the kindest.  She has a way of drawing the wounded and shattered and making them whole.

I just want all you mothers out there to know something.  No matter what size you are.  No matter how you feel about yourself.  To your children you are always beautiful.
