Super Motivated

I’m going to be beautiful and skinny again if it kills me….  Wait… what?

O.k., dying does kind of defeat the purpose of improving quality of life.  But, you’ll never be skinnier…skinny-er,  umm… more skinny?  :P

Looking into starting an exercise regimen.  Not sure yet how I’m going to pull this one off.  I get exhausted walking from the parking lot to the building.   Ever since the chemo treatments I tire easily.  Hopefully now that I’m off the chemo I can get some of the energy back.  My illness is dormant at the moment so I’m going to take advantage of that.

I want to be able to walk around Durango again.  I miss that.  Soo… next goal.  Find a gym that I can feel comfortable in and not have to walk 6 miles to get to the building.

 I can do this.  :D

You can do this! Maybe just start with walking as far as you can without joining a gym. There are so many things we can do without going to the gym. I wish you the best!

    Great attitude

My advice to you would be to continue with the walking.
Before you know it you’ll be able to walk a little further and a little further and feel better doing it.

Walking is wonderful exercise and its free and its available for us to take advantage of.
Its an awesome place to start.

    YES YOU CAN DO THIS!!!!!
    All the best

If you’ve got a Curves in your area, that is a GREAT place to go. I’ve been going there for nearly a month, and the neat thing about it is you can work out at your own pace. You don’t have to be able to run a marathon to do it! :-) In fact, there are a lot of senior citizens there (many of them more fit than me!).
    Keep up the good work!

I think the closest Curves would be in Albuquerque and that’s about 165 miles from here. I think that’s a bit much for commuting. :P

I live in the sticks. On a dirt road. Electricity is still a wonder to us country folks. We haven’t decided yet if it’s from Satan or not. I’ll keep you posted.

I think the best place is San Juan College. The only problem with that is the uphill 3 mile walk from the parking lot to the building. I may start out by simply walking to the door and leaving. I can just imagine what the people inside watching me would be thinking. :P

Well. I’m gay. Does that count? I can even shave my legs if that helps. :P
